John Parker has served as the Governor for District 14 since 2019. Prior to that John began serving District 14 and Fleet 21 (Austin) as Fleet Captain in 2013. John and his wife, Meiling, were introduced to J/24s in 2011 as crew, and shortly thereafter they took the plunge and bought their first boat, a J/24 named Chupacabra. John continues to be a pivotal leader in District 14 by supporting adult and college-level J/24 sailing in Austin and beyond.
